Tough Enough

posted Apr 06, 2011 23:55:13 by Dave W.
WWE's shows are pretty farking awful in a variety of ways.

Yet I watched Tough Enough and thought it decent. (The probably reason for this is that WWE aren't making it themselves, as it's been farmed out to a production company)

But seeing as half the "contestants" already have development deals, it kinda takes the fun out of it.

Tough Enough was okay enough, considering. Guess it's a matter of time before the 'E adds all the extra 'entertainment' to it, like Michael Cole showing up and openly crushing all their dreams.

Loved when Austin asked that one broad what her favorite divas match was, and she said Fox vs Melina. Fucking great. Also, how many times were the words "Tough", "Enough", and a combo of the two used in the show?

I want either MDogg to win or that Southern fella with the face that looks like it's inverted.

I want the dude whose teeth came out when he was running the ropes to win.

I never realised how small MDogg was!!!!

Be interesting to see what the winner gets. the chick who got eliminated is already signed on with FCW. Hoping Sky pick it up tho, its well more interesting concept than NXT. Hornswoggle as mentor....
Poofter eh?

I realized MDogg was small when he climbed that pole in the ECW Arena and was doing gymnastics and shit up there.

This is the only engrossing program the WWE has in it's lineup. Stone Cold pretty much makes it, though.

MDogg winning would be cool, but they hardly featured him at all in the show, I thought. Makes me think he won't be a big deal to the show, seeing him edited down like that.
Jack Newbury said Apr 07, 2011 16:52:55
Well, he is also straight edge, which means he won't be bringing the badgirlsclub style dramedies these types of shows need. But, if he gets towards the end, that could become about competition and he'd be featured more.

So NXT canceled?
SirStumps-a-Lot said Apr 08, 2011 07:56:25
Oddly, no, NXT is still going.

It's called NXT Redemption so it has all the previous failures who have the chance of ... being in the next NXT or something.

It has Darren Young on it WHO'S BEEN ON RAW!

Dipshit show.

Also, I hate ALL the women in this so far.

I hate the women who're just in this to look pretty and "Divaliscious" and I especially hate that bird who claimed she has 11 years experience.
jimmyjojojunior said Apr 08, 2011 21:06:54
11 years experience? What... watching?
Poofter eh?
Jack Newbury said Apr 09, 2011 00:33:36
The chick with the faux-11 years is married to Johnny Fairplay, I've read.
