The retirement speech was quite a nice one, not overly self serving and he seemed genuinely emotional.

As a Wrestler, he wasn't the greatest technician but he used all of his attributes well, I'm glad that the MRI's showed the potential dangers before a serious injury occurred so good luck to him.

He was good in them ladder matches against the Hardys and Dudleys. Although this probably took its toll on his body. His best singles run was as the 'Rated-R Superstar'.

However all in all, he has been good enough to stick around and win titles, not good enough to be a real all time 'great'.

Sort of surprised they had a wrestler go out and say, basically that they have fucked their body over.

Good speech.

Hulk Hogan tweeted..twittered..twatted? this about Edge.

"if any of the guys like me,Flair,Hardy,Andre,AA,Blanchard, orndoff,Henning would have listened to doctors we would have quit15yrsago. but I don't know Edges working environment because they are a media company not a wrestling company. HH"

"wrestlers work hurt! What about Foley! I bet EDGE still wants to keep wrestling,he's one of the boys big time!!! HH"

Yeah! Paralysis rules!

Damn, that is fucking ridiculous. But, it is Hogan, afterall.

If there's one good thing to come out of this, it's that we won't have any more Edge matches.

Oh be nice

This is coming from Hogan where in the WWE every time he would surface to take a dump on a fulltime talent, he'd have to get a surgery just to even work a match.

This will either:
a) screw up Christian's chances of a push
b) give Christian all of Edge's proprosed storylines.

I like how Hogan mentioned Hardy after he listed Flair and himself. Both Hardys should have retired 15 years ago and saved us the trouble.

I like the fact that Edge has finally realized that his body is made entirely of glass. I'm not the biggest Edge fan, but I don't wanna see the dude paralyzed. Assuming this isn't a work. Which you'd have to work pretty hard to convince me of.
